I’m an academic and policy advisor. Currently, I’m Part-time Professor at the European University Institute. I work as package leader in two Horizon projects: ANIMA MUNDI and StreamSCAPES. Before that, I was REBOOT’s Principal Investigator for Erasmus University Rotterdam.

My work examines the EU as a global enabler of cultural diversity, the green transition, and a fairer international order. Specifically, I study the EU's global actorness through cultural diplomacy, audiovisual policy, and culture's role in sustainable development.

Culture is chronically undervalued in debates about the EU's development model and global role. My work closes that gap with evidence-based research.
