I’m an academic and policy advisor. Currently, I’m Part-time Professor at the European University Institute. I work as package leader in two Horizon projects: ANIMA MUNDI and StreamSCAPES. Before that, I was REBOOT’s Principal Investigator for Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Culture is undervalued in debates about the EU's development model and global role. I work to overcome this by reflecting on how culture and the audiovisual sector can strengthen the EU 1) internally, particularly via debates on security and a well-being economy; and 2) externally, supporting its global standing as an enabler of cultural diversity through cultural diplomacy and relations. Sustainability is a cross-cutting concern.

In my spare time, I co-chair the Forum on EU-UK Cultural & Media Relations.
