I’m an academic and policy advisor. Currently, I’m Part-time Professor at the European University Institute. I work as package leader in two Horizon projects: ANIMA MUNDI and StreamSCAPES. Before that, I was REBOOT’s Principal Investigator.

My work centres around the geopolitics of culture, cultural diplomacy and relations, cultural/audiovisual policy, and culture in sustainable development, focusing primary on the European Union and its global action.

I'm convinced that the role of culture is severely undervalued in policy discussions regarding the EU's model of development and its global actorness. My work examines and expands intellectual and policy debates to build robust evidence-based solutions to correct this.
